關(guān)于印發(fā)《消防系統(tǒng)有關(guān)單位、職銜英文規(guī)范譯名》的通知

????各省、自治區(qū)、直轄市公安消防總隊(duì)：
????隨著改革開放的深入發(fā)展，我國(guó)消防部門與國(guó)外同行的交流不斷增多，消防部門各單位、職銜的英文譯名使用率越來(lái)越高。單位、職銜的譯名在英語(yǔ)中屬于專有名詞范疇，其本身內(nèi)涵具有確定性和嚴(yán)肅性。為了防止出現(xiàn)錯(cuò)誤譯名，或一個(gè)機(jī)構(gòu)數(shù)個(gè)譯名的混亂狀況，我局在多次征求有關(guān)單位意見(jiàn)的基礎(chǔ)上，對(duì)有關(guān)譯名進(jìn)行了規(guī)范統(tǒng)一。
????現(xiàn)將《消防系統(tǒng)有關(guān)單位、職銜英文規(guī)范譯名》印發(fā)給你們，請(qǐng)?jiān)趩挝粯?biāo)識(shí)翻譯、對(duì)外宣傳交流工作中使用。如有疑問(wèn)或建議，請(qǐng)及時(shí)與我局辦公室聯(lián)系。特此通知。

????注：1、關(guān)于“市”的譯法。目前我國(guó)通行做法是將直轄市譯為Municipality（全稱MunicipalitydirectlyundertheCentralGovernment），地級(jí)市也譯為Municipality，縣級(jí)市譯為City。為了避免直轄市和地級(jí)市都用Municipality引起的混淆，同時(shí)考慮到四個(gè)直轄市名氣較大，翻譯時(shí)不加Municipal做定語(yǔ)修飾一般不會(huì)引起誤解，因此在翻譯直轄市消防局時(shí)省略了Municipal。然而，直轄市公安局的傳統(tǒng)譯名中一直都有Municipal做修飾，本文對(duì)此未做改動(dòng)，如果各直轄市消防局為了與公安局譯名保持一致，也可在譯名中加上Municipal做修飾。
????2、各地消防部門既有部隊(duì)稱謂(如XX省公安消防總隊(duì)，中國(guó)人民武警警察部隊(duì)XX省消防總隊(duì))，也有地方稱謂(如XX省公安廳消防局)。為了便于溝通交流，建議在對(duì)外宣傳交流中統(tǒng)一使用地方稱謂，如建議使用FireDepartmentofXXProvince(XX省公安廳消防局)，不建議使用FireCorpsofXXProvince(XX省公安消防總隊(duì))；建議使用FireStation(消防站)，不建議使用FireSquadron(消防中隊(duì))等。
????3、四個(gè)國(guó)家級(jí)消防產(chǎn)品檢測(cè)中心已分別有各自的英文譯名，并且有的已注冊(cè)使用。為工作方便，各檢測(cè)中心可以繼續(xù)沿用過(guò)去的譯名，但是由于原有譯名不是很統(tǒng)一和規(guī)范，建議今后有條件時(shí)盡量過(guò)渡到規(guī)范譯名。
